GeeDevelopers Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") operates the InfoDeck Scanner application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use the App to scan and digitize documents.
Camera and Document Access
InfoDeck Scanner requires access to your device's camera to scan documents. This access is used solely for the purpose of capturing document images within the App. We do not access your camera at any other time, and camera usage is not used for tracking or identification.
Information We Collect
- Scanned documents — Document images captured via the App are stored locally on your device or, if you choose to export to InfoDeck, transmitted securely to your InfoDeck account.
- Device information — Device type and OS version for diagnostics and compatibility.
- Crash reports — Anonymous error logs if the App encounters an error. No document content is included.
Scanned documents are never uploaded to our servers without your explicit action (e.g., choosing to export or sync).
How We Use Your Information
- To enable document scanning and digitization on your device.
- To allow you to export scans to InfoDeck (if you choose to do so).
- To diagnose and fix App crashes and bugs.
Permissions Required
- Camera — Required for scanning documents.
- Storage — Required to save scanned documents to your device.
Third-Party Services
The App may use Google Play Services (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) for distribution. If you export scans to InfoDeck, the InfoDeck Privacy Policy also applies to that data.
Children's Privacy
InfoDeck Scanner is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data Security
Scanned documents stored locally are protected by your device's built-in security. Exported content is transmitted using industry-standard encryption.
